The song starts off with chorus singing "Shambo Shankara, Hara Hara Mahadeva..." followed by a beautiful sound of the Shanku. The lyrics are about the Trisha Krishnan's (Pournami's) prayer for Lord Shiva to come and rescue her.

I have seen this movie. An excellent movie directed by Prabhudeva with great values of life. Not as other regular voilent telugu movies.

The song is excellent and Chithra has sung it brilliantly. Prabhudeva(or MS Raju) made a mess out of the casting. DSP provided such beautiful music, it is sad that it went unnoticed b/c the producer wanted to use his favourite heroine. Neither one of them were able to showcase the beauty of classical dance properly.

Oh my god! I love love love this song! It's beautiful! The asting is great! Why didn't you like it? It is true that they can't ance but Trisha and Charmi gave quite a memorable performance. There are very few actressess today who can dance well and act well. Luckily Charmi was not slutty in this movie so I thought it was quite good. But I respect your opinion and think you are right about the dancing.

i do agree with u.. the music score is perfect. just that the cast not so impressive.. i like charmi..but she is totally out for bharatanatyam...they should have casted Sada or Laya..they have got their grace in classical dance.. Trisha's part is ok..because she was just for a while... its a very good movie..but i don't know why it didn't do well in boxoffice..

u want the whole translation is it? thats difficult... but overall the song is about the girl's plead for Lord Shiva, the Lord of Dance to bestow them.. there are lots and lots of praises for Lord Shiva in the song.. very beautifully written lyrics...

yea that is true..she is a best classical dancer..but would she fit in this bubly role as charmi had in this movie?? and would be romantic to see shobana with prabhas..i think this movie was for youngster..so they took yougsters..and charmi did a nice job with prabhas..climax was just to good.

her moves are all non-traditional and she does not follow the natya shashtra, her dancing is merely crap she has no mandi, natyarambam, abinaya..... her danceing style is made up so are her mudras. she needs to go back up where she came from and hide in there. This dance is amazing the way it is the dancer stinks like shobana but the song has a beautiful meaning. Nice movie to! sorry if i came to hard on you Macho12. this is just how i feel. Love you! <3
